No-one wants their race cut short by a mechanical issue. Make sure you’ve done everything you can to get you and your bike race-ready.
Here are some things to do before your big race:
• Have your bike serviced! Even if it’s just a basic service – and don’t do it the day before.
• Make sure your tyres aren’t worn and prone to punctures. We’ll do a free tyre assessment for you.
• Pack and carry the right spares in case something goes wrong
• Make sure your bike is properly cleaned and your chain lubed before the race.
Make sure your wheels are pumped, your bottle cages are tight, your gears are shifting, and your brakes are working the day / night before. That way if you have any issues, you have enough time to sort out the problem.
Be race-ready well before the race. Not only will this help you be better prepared, but it’ll also get you over the line. Book a service with us.
