A plush ride
Do you need suspension?

Suspension revolutionised the cycling industry, allowing riders to tackle trickier trails and bigger obstacles, and to go faster and be more comfortable. Is your suspension helping or hampering your ride?

Depending on the type of riding you do, there’s suitable suspension. If you’re doing smoother, “smaller” obstacles, you’ll need up to 100mm of travel on your front fork and 90mm rear suspension. The rougher the type of riding you do, the more suspension you’ll need.

*Sag is the amount of suspension travel used when you sit still on your bike. This is how much “give” the suspension has before being absorbed to obstacles.

Did you know that there are even stems with suspension or shock absorbers? Particularly seen in gravel bikes and some road bikes, the stem suspension absorbs and reduces the shock to your hands, arms, shoulders and neck through your handlebar. You could be even more comfortable if you’re moving properly on your bike to absorb shock.
