All about aero
Every second counts

In cycling, aero really is everything. Even the smallest detail or piece of equipment can help you gain watts and speed.

One of the most cost-effective pieces of aero equipment is a helmet. Aero technology and science is improving daily, so you don’t need a full TT helmet to gain seconds or even minutes at your next race. Even helmets with basic aero properties can help you gain speed.

A recent study conducted in a wind tunnel found that an aero helmet (with a smooth front and long rear) can shave off up to a minute over 40km with an average speed of 40km/hr - compared to a normal (non-aero) helmet (all other elements being equal).

Other inexpensive accessories that’ll gain you seconds on the bike include:

Aero is everything

You don’t have to break the bank to gain seconds and get more aero. With a small investment for the right aero accessories, you’ll be speeding in no time.
