Get the wheels turning
Gear up

Finding your wheels is only half the battle won. You need to make sure you have all the right gear, even if you feel like you have no idea.

Here’s what you’ll need:
• Most importantly, a helmet. We’ll do a fitting for you for free.
• Protect your bum with padded shorts and bum cream that’ll fit you and your budget.
• Protect your skin and your eyes with sunblock and glasses.
• Carry the right spares, even if you don’t know how to use them, chances are someone in the group or on the trails will be able to help you.

Ride together
One of the best ways to maintain your starting momentum and motivation is to join a riding group. Being accountable to others will help you get out and ride when you might otherwise have skipped a day. It’s also a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends.

Don’t be scared, be prepared

Being prepared frees you up to make the most of your cycling experience. We can help you find the right gear for your riding style and your budget.
