Getting your balance right, be it on a road bike or tricky trail, has a lot to do with the positioning of your body and the distribution of your weight. Did you know your bike can be controlled according to how you position your body?

The contact point between you and your wheels on the ground can change. For a steep descent, you want your weight back behind your saddle so that there is more grip with your back wheel. For a steep uphill, the opposite applies. You want your weight forward to have more traction with your front wheel.
