Organise your space

Nothing keeps you motivated like an organised space. Make sure your indoor trainer is set up so that it’s easy for you to do your workout and be excited to do it.

Remember to have these essentials ready:

1. Nutrition – water, electrolytes or even snacks
2. Cooling system – a fan or an aircon
3. Protection – rubber mat on the floor and a sweat cover on your bike
4. A towel – to keep the sweat under control
5. Entertainment – music, series or a movie to keep you occupied

Although indoor cycling may seem lonely, there are many indoor communities you can join. Have a look on Zwift and other training apps, you can join their “no-drop” rides. These allow you to stay in the bunch no matter your power out-put. You’ll be able to stay in the bunch and chat to cyclists from around the world! You can even host a ride and allow others to join if you’re up for it.
