Are you packing and protecting your bike correctly when you travel? With a few easy steps and precautions your bike will be ready for every adventure:

- Clean your bike before it is packed

Rookie error

Don’t pack your helmet in your bike bag if you’re flying. Although helmets are hardy and made to protect us, putting it in your bike bag runs the risk of it damaging or cracking. Rather travel with your helmet in your hand luggage.

Top tip

If you're flying, remember to weigh your bag before you head to the airport. That way if your bag is too heavy you can remove items to avoid paying excess luggage.
