A tyre for every occasion
The mountains are calling

The wider your tyre, the more it weighs – but the better your traction. What’s the perfect tyre width for your riding style?

A wider tyre could be heavier, but it makes up for the weight in its abundance of benefits. Wider tyres offer:
• More traction
• Better balance
• Gives you more confidence
• Rolls better over obstacles

If you do mostly marathon and cross-country riding, you’ll probably want a tyre somewhere between 2.2 and 2.4 inches. But if you enjoy the technical descents and enduro or downhill is more your style, you’ll probably need between 2.8 and 3.0 inches. You could even ride with different width tyres on your front and back wheels – depending on your preference. Come chat to us about your riding style so we can find the best tyre for you.
