Here’s the best way to lube your chain:

• Make sure your chain is clean before you apply lube.
• Use your pedal and crank arm to back-pedal while you apply the lube so that your entire chain gets coverage. Try to keep the application consistent so that it’s not blotchy.
• Wipe off any excess lubricant with a clean cloth.
• If you’re using e-bike specific lubricant, you can apply it to any pivot points on your bike, like your derailleurs and jockey wheels.
